Well, Looks like I am the first one to comment on my very own blog! Seems like a lonely place right now!
I needed a break from Election's, I for one am sick to death of them.
I miss fun! I miss make up! I miss jewelry! I miss my youth!
I am almost a Gemologist, maybe I could run for something Political next time, I already nominated myself for "Principessa Lisa" I won by a land slide.Guess I voted for myself.
I have a passion for gemstones, jewelry, truth is I am passionate about life, so why does it feel like life put the brakes on us for a time?
My favorite colored gemstone is a spessertite garnet, love em', the bright orange kind, it is like a party. which is what we all could use right now to pull us out of this "Depression".
My Mom ( she is 82) she was talking last night about the Great Depression, why do they always say, The Great Depression, what is great about a Depression? she said, they boiled weeds and stuff for coffee, hmm sounds like what we call pot.. not sure about that, I just listen.
All I know is this they boiled stuff, killed stuff, and women had to give up their stockings, to me that is the saddest part of it all.
I know men had to go fight and all, but we women gave up our stockings, war is hell on women!
This Principessa Lisa is tired.

Passion is a very good thing, depression (the great or otherwise) is not. Can you post a photo of the inspirational spessertite garnet? I bet we could all use some inspiration.
Taking a break from election stuff is okay as long as you still understand basically what's going on so you can put in a legitimate vote, and we can hope it really counts and nobody steals the election.
Rest dear principessa, you need to be ready when your prince arrives.
